About Me
I’ve spent my career architecting enterprise-wide clarity at the intersection of technology, mission and risk. My relationship with technology began early at Virginia Tech, quickly pivoted from pure computer science to eventually engineering management—the critical need to translate complex technical capability into prioritized business outcomes. This focus on bridging the technical gap became my "Translator" advantage
For two decades, I was brought in during moments of maximum volatility. At organizations like Capital One and the NRO, I led the development of enterprise frameworks (e.g., Application Portfolios, Cyber Risk) to map end-to-end systems, enabling C-suite leaders to zero in on the highest risk decisions and prioritize investment. That experience proved that systems thinking is the foundation of Decision Intelligence.
I built the MountainSpirit.AI Six Layers Framework™ to help leaders navigate this shift responsibly, strategically, and with confidence. MountainSpirit.AI is my thought-leadership platform where I explore how AI can strengthen teams, modernize workflows, and support better decision-making. I am passionate about helping guide organizations through this transition.
